Photographs of the Hotel des Voyageurs

These images illustrate the setting created in the rooms of the Hotel des Voyageurs during Métamorphose. Photographs taken while the event was open to the public with theatrical performances underway can be found here.
A fragment of an imaginary stay was created in the old hall of the hotel.  The floor is in Samsara Ivoire, the enormous screens are entirely clad in Florilège.

The photographic exhibition in the Hotel des Voyageurs

These are not images taken during Métamorphose, but an evocative exhibition of photographs on display in the corridors and rooms of the Hotel des Voyageurs during the event.
The images, taken by photographers whose style is characterised by the theme of abandonment, make a significant contribution to the atmosphere and mood of the visit.
Novoceram would like to thank the photographers by republishing their work in this article, for each image giving the title [...]

The visit to the Novoceram factory at Métamorphose

The visit to Novoceram’s factory at Champblain was one of the four afternoon appointments for each of the more than 600 guests at Métamorphose from Monday 8 to Friday 12 June.

Although part of the normal programme of customer visits to the company headquarters, proposing them during this event had a particular significance for Novoceram.
It is precisely the metamorphosis in the production process during the last few years which has already brought Novoceram [...]

The biblical gusts of wind which uprooted a number of publicity panels outside the company’s offices and the rain which half [...]

Metamorphosis looks out from the windows of the Hotel des Voyageurs

On the occasion of Métamorphose, not just the inside of the old Hotel des Voyageurs will be brought back to life.  The outside too will be transfigured to represent the sense of transformation and rebirth which inspires the whole event.

Exploiting the characteristic and elegant configuration of the building’s façade, an external blind decorated with part of the butterfly motif which symbolises the Temporary Show will be attached to each window.
Although broken up [...]

During Métamorphose, Novoceram’s Temporary Show bringing new life to the Hotel des Voyageurs in St Vallier, the show room in the company’s Champblain premises will also be renewed.

A complete redefinition of the spaces involving demolishing and reconstructing the partition walls.
Today, 2 June, the countdown to the opening has reached six days and it seems impossible that everything will be ready on time.
In a space which now seems decidedly restricted, the team responsible [...]
